Welcome to my world. I am Henrik I. Christensen. I am a professor of computing at Georgia Institute of Technology and the KUKA Chair of Robotics. I am also the executive director of the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines at Georgia Tech. I was born and raised in Frederikshavn, Denmark and received my college and graduate education from Aalborg University, Denmark. I have since then held position at Aalborg University, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University of Pennsylvania, Swedish Royal Institute of Technology prior to joining Georgia Tech. My research is on a systems approach to robotics and I work closely with a broad range of companies such as Boeing, PSA, BMW, … In my spare time I enjoy gourmet food, good wine, and photography.
